Zach Lange, Board Member at Large
Originally from the Midwest, Zach Lange has become a sought-after trumpet player and educator in New Hampshire. Zach holds a B.A. in Jazz Studies and History from Western Michigan University, in Kalamazoo, where he received the Classical Music and Medallion Scholarship and the Judith Bailey Music Scholarship to attend the School of Music. As a performer he can be found with the Soggy Po Boys, Sojoy, and various other projects. As an educator, his focus is on the history of music, as well as the personalities and lives of the musicians studied. He has appeared several times at the University of New England as guest lecturer on the legacy and contributions of Louis Armstrong. Zach is the Music Director and Lead Middle School teacher at the Sparhawk School in Amesbury, Massachusetts and can be found on staff at the Seacoast Academy of Music in North Hampton, New Hampshire. |
