Smaller, but no less mighty, Jazz in the Streets for 2026 will take place on one day, bringing jazz to the streets of Portsmouth on August 8 from 12:30 to 4. Originally trained in opera at a young age, Marisa has sung in varying genres of music groups in Boston, the seacoast and beyond. You can find her singing with the Bounce and Tiger Jazz Collective. Bryan Killough, a 30-year veteran of the New England music scene, the group is a natural extension of his lifelong passion for jazz. Bryan, also a founding member of GrooveChild and The Hot Club of Portland, brings a dynamic, Django-inspired energy and leadership to the ensemble. His musical versatility and deep roots in both jazz and rock make him a magnetic force on stage. |
In an effort to bring live jazz music to the community, each summer the Seacoast Jazz Society sponsors outdoor jazz performances in downtown Portsmouth, with the goal of expanding this program to other seacoast communities. The musicians are all professional jazz musicians dedicated to increasing awareness and enthusiasm for this very special artform.

The 603 Brass Band is New Hampshire’s very own powerhouse brass collective,
blending the soul of New Orleans with the grit of New England. Founded by
Army Band veterans, the group is made up of Army musicians, music educators,
and college students who bring explosive horns, deep grooves, and unstoppable
energy to every stage they hit.
