Nick Mainella
Nick Mainella is a New England based saxophonist and music educator. Residing in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire, Nick maintains an active performing and teaching career. After completing his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of New Hampshire, he spent two years in Kalamazoo, MI completing his Master of Music in jazz performance at Western Michigan University.

Nick is an in demand teacher, performer, and clinician. He is the founder and lead teacher of The Jazz Intensive. An online music school for students of all ages and abilities with a global student body. Nick also teaches at the University of New Hampshire and Timberlane Schools. Nick has recently published his first method book for saxophone, Comprehensive Saxophone Warm-Ups with the Mel Bay Publishing Company as well as writing articles and hosting workshops for jazz societies and publications the world over.

Nick also maintains an active performance and touring schedule in New England and beyond with ensembles such as, The Soggy Po Boys, Sojoy, and OurBigBand.
